Abuse Poem by anthony sutton

Abuse

A blank face nobody knows,
Bad luck is near, said the crows.
The sky darkens and lightning reveals the path.
Far away from a parent's wrath.

A chase starts between freedom and prison, relief and suffering, life and death.
As one speeds up, the other gets 10x stronger and scarier.
The race for the truth to get out, the fear of the truth getting out, the consequences of the truth.

Grief hurts,
Death hurts,
Pain hurts,
Sadness hurts,
But rejection is torture, and abandoment is the devil.
