Acceptance Poem by Jake G..

Acceptance

Looking through the glass of despair
I close my eyes and just say a prayer
to the god who I believe
gives us life and sets us free
I mention all the things
that life takes and also brings
takes the good and brings the bad
leaving people unhappy and sad
their thoughts thrust upon them without a doubt
bringing hate, and they also shout
take them back to where they belong
that’s where there so so wrong
we deserve to walk this earth
no one claiming its their turf
saying this is our Country not yours
kicking us out and closing the doors
not realising were there brothers
They deny us in just because of colours
I forgive them for all the pain
they have caused our ancestors us we wont stand for the same
remarks and roomers they spread around
shooting us dead dropping us to the ground
You say to us your taking our money
stop having a laugh your not really funny
what’s wrong with people these days
always thinking of different ways
to hurt those around them leaving them scarred
Makes them think they are so hard
you call us bad, take a look at you
if only if only you knew
The creed you possess
you try to impress
but you end up with less
then blame us “negros” as you like to call us who are black
dressing up in white costumes, looking like a prat
prancing round in white dresses like pansies
cursing and swearing like your Gorden Ramsie
I hope one day you wake up and feel
that you have FINALLY been able to break the seal
of the lid of friendship, love, and prestige

(i dont mean to affend anyone)

so please dont leave nasty comments..
