Acknowledge The Truth! Poem by Mohammad Younus

Acknowledge The Truth!

Acknowledge the Truth!
Blindfolded, we wander in shadows,
Our eyes veiled, our ears sealed,
Molten zinc sears the path to wisdom.
Captives in a sunless cave,
We are deaf to melodies eternal—
The sacred scripture sings unheard.

Who are we, if we are at all?
Can we see the light—
The truth that is our essence?
Instead, we stumble beneath false suns,
Enchanted by artificial glow,
Hypnotized by illusion's spell.

Death whispers, familiar and near;
Life immortal, we cannot grasp.
We seek to entomb the divine,
Yet it is we who lie entombed,
Buried in the shadows of our making,
Where venomous vipers nest.
Their poison courses through our souls,
Dimming light with endless night.

Still, the piper plays, ancient and true,
Calling, "Hu, Hu, Hu—
Dance! Let the masks fall away,
Let illusions decay! "
His tune echoes through the hollow hearts,
A summons to rise and dissolve.

Who can escape the coming justice?
The day of reckoning looms,
When the unhearing will meet their shame,
And those attuned to the sacred melody
Will ascend the hallowed mountain,
Drawn near to the source of light.

Dance, then, to the piper's call!
Dance until the hollowed shell breaks,
And the eternal soul stands unveiled.
For our truth is light,
Our essence immortal—
One with the divine.
