we miss them
because they are not there

but say to say
you no longer look for them

you have peace
and it will stay

because they are no longer there
and you never want them anymore to enter the fences of your life

you have peace
and you live in there

did i say we miss them?
old friends sometimes i ask

have i reserved a space for them here?
i must have forgotten and i like it that way.

i have peace
and i live here alone.
