Across His Face Wrinkled Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Across His Face Wrinkled

Across his face wrinkled
and strong
With age that went
Along
The fires of mirth and
Youth
Stood he on the
Plain
Bleak and cadaver
Said:
And shouted:
Though I be in misery, Destiny be mine! '
