Across Them All Poem by Ajay Shaan

Across Them All

Across the sprawling mountains and tempestuous seas..
Deep, dark forests with overwhelming trees..
Past the stormy clouds and turbulent skies..
Where the mighty one whimpers and cries..
Beyond howling wolves from the annals of night..
And the scorching sun of the day so bright..
I send all my love to you.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is composed of allegories of obstacles that stand in the way of a long distance relationship. It is about how true love, unconquerable as it is, will brave all the hurdles in a long distance relationship. I wrote this poem this afternoon during a free hour in class. I dedicate this poem to my dear soul-mate, Armela Escalona.
