Act I: Stage Of Skyfall Poem by Insignia Rose

Act I: Stage Of Skyfall

A barren landscape,
Lost to the morrow...
Crystal light incite the vision...
As the landscape turns, to an embrace...

The earth trembles,
as this song starts to sing.

Singing a melody,
That was lost,
but what...does it bring?

It rides the waves of eternity,
and feeds the fires of mortality.

It sings of a melody,
haunting with wings.

It flies overhead,
and touches with it's frozen stare.

With wings of blinding night,
It lights the path forevermore.

She hath no immortal rest unto thyself.

A damp sunset,
drops the canvas.
Onto this landscape,
lost and full of sorrow.

The sky starts to drip...drip...drip.
And then shatters,
Like a glass clip.

Piece by piece,
Shards of this glimmering hope...
Crack the soul of those that once dreamed.
Dreamed of tomorrow. Dreamed of being able to dream.

The restless may soon sleep as the lights turn on,
But the flickering sky...
knows no bounds any longer.

It will not stop, until She overtakes what is hers.

Oh how it may burn,
But this path is open.

Walk down it,
And you may find...
f i n d....

What did I... find?
