Eve was just honest
and candid enough to admit
that it was her who
sinned by taking the apple
from that snake
who tempted her as she also
voluntarily took the bite
and swallowed what was shiny
red and sweet
Adam however, adamant as
he was and still is, could not
admit so much guilt hence
he is still midway between
his claimed righteousness and
his failing perception about
that irresistible temptation
in such a way that a bone in
his neck at the middle of it
had actually grown.
that bone that protrudes
mind you, keeps on saying that
he was still on his senses but
has failed utterly not because
of the apple, or that woman,
but because of that wily snake.
which if not loved and
protected by Eve he could
have smashed or chokedto death by
his strong and naked fingers.
