Adam & Eve Poem by Scottie Bonstone

Adam & Eve

What is all this?
Shades of blue and green
Scorching my eyes
Take this path, There's more to be seen

Silent thunder coming from afar
A match made in heaven, having yet to start
Broken pieces have scattered the meadows
Meaningless words tumble through shadows

'A window must reflect from within
Your transition must occur in full effect
For your new life to begin'

Sunlight breaks and shatters
Through open veins within my heart
Pleasant death offerings on a silver platter
This rejection will tear me apart

Salvation has to be in store

Beauty strikes with fierce vengeance
Some sort of course action
Drawing from my head
Searching for independence

The shine of the moon's dark side
Wonders fill space
On the shores of the ocean tide
All the mountains in every place

For Who Are You?
