Addicted Poem by Joan Mateo

Rating: 4.5

Makes me smile than makes me tear makes my dreams turn to nightmares,
puts my hopes up, than smashes them down. Makes me laugh to make me frown,

I take a peek at that thinking space were i left everything behind to talk babe.

Now look at my second face since now i have two, talking to my friends while thinking of you.

I turn around to look in the mirror but why even bother if all i see is a weirdo,

my life reflects those wonderful memories that turned our love into deadly enemies.

I talked so sweetly but now i have no taste, i have no reason to smile when you're so close but so far away.

I dreamed about you now i call it addiction, i held you so tight and now i have you in pictures

This is a nice poem with a good flow, Joan Mateo. But I would also do a grammar check, I would start the sentence with a capital letter, to show where a statement starts and where it ends. I would also put comas, in order to emphasize certain ideas, etc. A good poem, just needs a little bit of corrections to improve it. Keep up the good work. And I kindly invite you to read my poems as well :)) ~Besa
