Addicted Poem by Liz Dyer

Addicted

We're all addicted to something
That takes the pain away
No need to continue to contemplate
Or further say
I'm addicted to you
In each and every way.

I'm addicted to, not just your looks
But the inside
The way you handle yourself
And conduct your pride
How your confidence is transferable
And reaches to mine
How just the sound of your voice
Diminishes my pride.
The way you detected my worth
Despite your fears
Having hope that I'll truly be there
For each and every one of your tears

I'm addicted to your mindset
The dedication to follow your dreams
The pleasant feeling of when
You're thinking of you, you're thinking of me
Passed the stage of you
And dwelling in the stage of team
I'm addicted to you, reality has fulfilled my dreams
