If you have made up your mind,
There's nothing left for me to do
But to stand alongside
And let you pass through.

For you and me were friends,
Long before the hate and strife
We loved freedom and song
And most of all we loved life.

What brought about this transition
I ponder about each day
What caused this anger
That made you want to go away.

Had I not tried my hardest
To be the best friend I could be?
But I guess that wasn't good enough
For you've decided to move on without me.

Someday in the distant future
You will realise that life offers just a few,
Maybe you will decide to re-kindle this friendship,
But until that day my friend, I bid you 'Adieu'
