*admittance* Poem by Alien Girl

*admittance*

Rating: 2.8

I was thanked for my honesty today
A noble deed.
The truth unfolded
A validation of an honest woman
But yet I lie
and I lie
and I lie
Just like him
and you
and you.
So where does that leave me
Lying in a cesspool of honesty
Or just merely keeping my head above water
Escaping death only to drown
In your sea of mediocrity
