19 years was too short a time for you to be with us
But you’re in a better place now cousin, In God We Trust

You’re up in Heaven above the clouds
This I will proclaim for I will say aloud!

My cousin was a great man and his absence is felt
But we have to move on in life with the cards we’re dealt

Difficulty and suffering filled with mourning and sorrow
But just beyond the horizon there is a brighter tomorrow

We are sad and hurt by the loss of you loved one
But you are no longer suffering; your work on Earth is done

With God and angels in Heaven you await
I hope when my time comes that you’ll meet me at the pearly gate
