Afflatus Poem by Marika Kartozia

Afflatus

I walk on the universe’s eyelids

My salmon dress falls to its face

I’ve sea foam in mind’s labyrinth

Ghosts haunt my memories ways

I float into naked feelings

Ephaemeral fluids run in my veins

The inferno of the living

The ambedo shakes my brain

Sat wide the wooden window

Brown eyes drink clinquant day

Raise my head from woolen pillow

And I watch susurrous hail

I tasted you in wicked dreams

In bed we invented insomnia

I gave you heart’s vivid fields

on the path we neglected dysphoria

Passion flows like river of blood

Soul lives for sophisticated love

We believe we are eternal

And trust amor of sempiternal

My heart is a hysterical organ

It dwells in a world you cannot see

Petrichor feeds hearts of orphans

Let the rain start to bleed
