African Child! African Child! ! Poem by Adeniyi Jnr Adetinji

African Child! African Child! !

Poverty like a spare that penetrate the body of a warrior and make him weak during battle, at its most extreme form is destitution.
Trying to survive without their most basic needs accounted for, an I cannot begin to imagine a path full of thorns sours and scares that cycle continually.
Observed the external pains from others and persist to move on like a rain drop fall from the sky and reachs the ground.
I developed wings aspiration of education, which makes early maturity in self -discipline and search for identity.
My thoughts was troubled like an ocean wave, winds of wholesome spirit of cooperation and dependence on one another as fruits attached to branches.
