After All Poem by Amity Willows

After All

Count the days as they roll by,
Wipe the tears from your cheeks,
Don’t be afraid to cry,
Don’t be afraid of being weak.
You deserve to feel saddened,
After all that you’ve gone through,
After all that has happened,
And what has been done to you.
You were stabbed in the back,
You were left all alone,
The night was so black,
When you hung up the phone.
You don’t have to be strong,
You don’t have to stand tall,
After all that has gone wrong,
After everything, after it all.
