I walk alone,
No one to guide me,
I run alone,
From night that smothers.

I will take my own path,
I will find my peace at last,
I will take my army and knock,
Knock on troubles door,
...

A roaring river cuts through the land,
The river thins down at the bend,
the bend where I would play as a child,
And where now I stop to rest awhile.
...

Everyday I am forced to sell,
Fast food in this fast food hell,
Greasy burgers with ingredients unknown,
I’m behind the grimy counter, all alone.
...

Painted lips so red,
Skin so very pale,
So silent, almost dead,
And yes, she is real.
...

You give all you got,
Till you got nothing to give,
You work all day, just to live,
I guess that’s just the way it goes,
...

Oh dearest brother,
You trust everybody,
But I ask you this,
Could you trust me?
...

You hide your face in a book,
You dry your tears on the pages,
You hide away in your fairy tales,
And we don’t know how to find you.
...

Fear,
Courses through you,
Making you unable to do,
What you need to do to survive,
...

I wish
To grow wings and fly away,
To miss this opportunity,
To become what I want to be,
...
