After All (Our World Song) Poem by Sameer Daniel Gardner

After All (Our World Song)

Rating: 4.0

A world without challenges,
And no lesson with every fall.
That world would be bad
Our's isn't that bad after all...

A world with no one above,
And where the big dont love their small,
Think of a world without love,
You'll realize ours isn't so bad after all...

A world without the magical transfiguration,
Of alienation to friendship that comforts like a shawl.
That world cant exist in the creepiest corners of my imagination.
Our world isn't that bad after all...

A world without the small joys,
Which a girl gets from a doll.
Or which small cars give to boys,
Ours isn't that bad after all...

A world without hope where,
in December nobody decks their hall.
Where sinners dont live as there is no one to forgive,
Ours isn't so bad after all...

A world where my poems dont vent my joy and grief,
But stay inside me and agonizingly crawl.
It is my personal belief,
Our world isn't that bad after all...

Our world isn't perfect,
But we can bring it closer every second every hour.
So start thinking positive,
And exploit your inner power.

Spread love and joy,
and answer this poet's call.
And let the world whisper-

'I am not so bad after all.'
