After The End Of Shabbat - Poem by Shalom Freedman

After the end of Shabbat
The silence is broken
A new week begins
Words come again

Why is rest so important
And why is beginning again
So meaningful?

After the end of Shabbat
When it is all over
When there is no prohibition and no restriction

Words are written again
And all is once again
