Beth Mc'Neil

Aftermath - Poem by Beth Mc'Neil

The aftermaths quite messy
My towel half stained red
The throbbing of the gashes
Like the pounding in my head
My face however is dry of tears
Though an eerie parlor gray
As I wipe way the evidence of my gruesome blood filled day
