The Seal Poem by Beth Mc'Neil

The Seal

I broke the seal of flesh and blood
Today at just past two
My mind went whizzing past me as I expected it to do
It's kind of like your dreaming it's almost like you care
Once the scissors blade bites the flesh it's a sign your truly there
Right now I'm feeling kind of guilty
Right now I'm feeling kind of sad
Because all these games do is hurt me
But I have just been missing them so bad
And today I kind of snapped a little
My mind hit a kind of wall
And the little voice inside my head supplied the way so stop it all
It was is just one little slice
Only a few beads of blood
But soon it will be many because as soon as I broke the seal I began the flood.
