Again Poem by Poetic Judy Emery

Again

AGAIN

Again, I stand around this crowd
Hoping to find some peace,
Oh, how my heart flutters
Whenever I think of you.

Again, you have captured me
By your touch of true love,
By the way you speak to me
Your voice is a melody,

At times, I could see us together
As faraway imaginations can take us,
You will be;

It's crazy how I had always run from my past
But you were always there to catch me,
You were always somewhere behind me
To even fight for me or die for me.

I tried and I tried to get you out of my mind
Again, trying to let you go;
Because where I am at is called the unknown,
there is no love in darkness,
All I can see is a blackboard with names on it,

Again, all I see is visions of us
And what love could be;
Oh, how it makes me feel so alive and free,
Until I see Dark Angel standing before me,
That's when all the screaming and the blood
Fallen at my feet;

Again, what we had was maybe a fantasy,
Because I can feel is pain standing around
In the pouring rain;
Wishing I could wake up out of this darken dream.
