Against The Odds Poem by Sumita Jetley

Against The Odds

In a bustling café's morning light,
Sat Riya with dreams in her sight.
A vision born from midnight hours,
Of software tools and newfound powers.
Across from her, Arjun's knowing grin,
'Your journey's tough, but let's begin.
Does this tool solve a need, a pain? '
Her heart, uncertain, felt the strain.
Start with friends, he wisely said,
Gather feedback, forge ahead.
From trusted voices, truth would show
If her fledgling dream could grow.
Weeks passed by, her faith took root,
Feedback came, though doubts did shoot.
Users returned, some friends, some new,
As whispers spread, her confidence grew.
Next came scaling, big leaps to make,
Building loops where growth could wake.
Referrals sparked, the word took flight,
Her tool embraced the morning light.
And when the evening city glowed,
She looked around, her journey showed—
From café corner to office wall,
Her small idea had grown tall.
Together they laughed, and raised their tea,
For dreams that grow, and hope set free.
'Each stage just leads to something more, '
She smiled, prepared for what's in store.
