Age Poem by Gary G Willmore

Age

Clocks stand motionless,
abbreviation in time.
Resolved to the outcome of matters pending,
solitary definition to events lost.
Diligence to recovery for an ascending soul,
what's left to prepare,
Why continue traveling along this journey known as conception
through eternal darkness with continues years heaping upon us,
waves wash away the energy of depleting sprites,
Living, we are remembering comrades or companions lost to this path of unspecified time,
As images reflect actions, memories open windows of past to revile moments
lost in fog of forgotten faces,
Friends like black and white moves appear in restless dreams,
we await the final conclusion, to weather rays of sunlight are known on past achievements, or reflect being humble man with desires and impurities,
Will fate lingers to capture past actions?
