Agony Of An Abandoned Lover Poem by Arun Maji

Agony Of An Abandoned Lover

Rating: 5.0

My heart aching
Soul crying
Eyes wandering around looking for you.

I feel like-
I come running to you,
Talk to you,
Embrace you.

But I cannot.
I cannot o love, I cannot.
You have told me
How annoying I am
How excruciating I am
How painful I am!

Then-
Let my silence prove to you
How much I want you to be happy.
Let my aching heart tell you
How much I miss you.
Let my crying soul whisper to you
How deeply I love you.

You don't have to love me.
Hate me. Just hate me.
Hate me deep, hate me long.
And I would accept your hate
As your kind love.
Yes o love, my heart aching
And soul twisting in agony.
But because you don't want me to call you
I would stay silent.

In silence, I would despair
Wither
And suffer.
