Conquest Of The Sorrow - Poem by Arun Maji

If you are broken
you're broken.
then your love is crushed
and soul is fragmented

Don't ask- who did it to you?
Ask- what is within you?

Make a sea out of your tears
to float your fragmented soul there.
And then- wait for
breeze of love reunite your fragmented soul.

First- make a sea out of your tears
    and float your fragmented soul.
And then- wait for the wind of love
reunite your fragmented soul! - - Very nicely done.We must realise that we are never alone. If there are people to hurt us, there are also people who love us.

Arun! your poem is both very sweet and cute.
This is exactly what i shall do when i feel sad and lost.

First- make a sea out of your tears
    and float your fragmented soul.

Life is full of ups and downs but we must keep our spirits high and show our resilience when down.
    If you're broken / you're broken!
Don't even worry / who did it to you!
And then- wait for the wind of love

    arun,

i like the brevity of this poem and the way you've shaped it. but most of all i'm drawn to its channeling of wisdom- its frank recognition of pain, the need to grieve then wait, and the knowing love yet inhabits the world and breeze into our lives. -gk

Congratulations for being selected for the poem of the day. Your soul is fragmented and love is crushed. That is why deep sorrow acquires mind. But there is no need to have worries for long time. Having love for life and God we get recovery from pain or sorrow. An amazing poem is shared here....10 (Report)Reply
