Ahmad Nadalian - Poem by Gwilym Williams

Ahmad Nadalian
Citizen of Poloor
And its fishless rivers,
Carver of the fish
Of the Horaz River
And the Caspian Sea,
Is walking
Through the Damavand
Filling his basket
With stones.

What he hopes
To draw
With his chisel
And hammer

Is your attention.

And I do so hope he gets it too. Nice. A lot said in a few lines. Good stuff.
