Alagemo Poem by Stephen Olufemi Omolara

Alagemo

Alegemo, so light yet tread with caution,
Lest the earth quakes under his tread
Alagemo full of disguise, yet hids,
Lest by an adventurous one get killed.

Listen to the rhythm before you dance,
The mouth that praises can curse,
The hand that pats can spank.
The heart that loves can hate.

Alegemo, the world is delicate.
Don’t look too much for detraction
Neither move too close to attraction
The world is too cunning brother.
