Alcázar Of Avellana Poem by Dolce Emmanuel Francisco

Alcázar Of Avellana

Long and endless, gentle marble tiles decorate these halls.
Tall and stale, tired sandstone rocks beautify these white walls.
The blue stained openings equally riddled these prosaic walks.

Dusky and delicate... shafts of sunlight glittered on her skin.
Silky and Long... adorned gingerly with precious foreign rocks.
White pearls and shiny jades veiled by her aphotic fringe.

Empty rooms yearning for sunlight, became all typical.
A long azure rug guided to the throne... mighty and holy.
Dark and lonely was this cathedra, glittered shallowly.

Hazel as well as angelic she had always a boring stare.
Glossy and melancholic lips decorated this face.
If her lips felt anything further than somber it would be rare.

Hangings, painted with Hazel decorated this castle.
Never to be admired by one, empty and gracile.
To ever be seen only when framed or hanged… always neglected.

Her continuously frigid hazel stare never ever ended.
The long silky nightgown now forever staring down.
The miserable princess' bare feet never ever landed.

The blue castle's sandstone shined at night… bright and defenseless.
The floor's marble glistened with the black night's moonlight.
All the empty rooms could receive was the dull rays of the moon.

The princess' body was the only thing adorning the empty room.
The hazel of her eyes and the moonlight perfectly on this June afternoon.
This beautiful castle ideal place for the princess' new sandstone tomb.

The blue princess' frigid hazel stare couldn't be further neglected…
The hazel painting still beautifully hanged from the walls.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The blue castle.. a lonely and empty castle with beautiful decorations. The princess, with her somber gaze, blends in this desolate atmosphere.
