Alienation Poem by Amitava Sur

Alienation

Rating: 5.0

'No more you belong with me now' - has become a myth nowadays.
Do you know that it has turned to be a very old history at present?
Perhaps, very many of them don't remember you even.
Ocean's surface becomes calm after the frightening storm,
How many of them remember, the Titanic is lying underneath?

Nowadays even, the moon rises in the star studded sky
Where the full moon casts its mystic light with delight.
During then very intensely I wish
To embrace you within my two arms,
Resulting with an utter failure in my every endeavor though!

Firmly holding the rods of the window, I go on begging you to see.
On one side the moon being smiling in the free sky,
Whether, I remain empty on the other side with a blank look only.
Today even the moon begets it's soothing beam on earth
But leaving me crying utterly being alienated within four walls! !

Like the Titanic lying beneath the ocean, your love remains deep within your heart and soul for Rakhee, a beautiful and lovely expression of a love that will never die, Little One. Your life may seem calm to others, but beneath the surface of your being, sorrow and sadness continue crashing against your heart, bringing tears of love to your eyes for the one you will forever love in this life and the next. I recognize and feel your pain through the words of your heart, Amitava. You are forever in my prayers as we travel this earth poetically, Little One. Thank you for sharing your heart's feelings.
