You have made this your personal mission
To help me find and reignite my passion
For life, for love and yes for that primal connection
Felt by two when they are joined as one

Around you, I feel, genuinely feel
The sluice gates of emotion automatically open
Leaving me overwhelmed by long forgotten sensations
These thought to have been buried years ago

For this and for you I thank you
For all that you are to me and all that you do
You are the sunshine in my day
The moonlight in my night

Almost the reason I am smiling again
A smile that is slowly reaching to the depths of my soul
Once again shining that much needed light of courage
Faith has been tentatively restored in passion once again

An yes, hope, the hope to love
The hope to feel, just feel and let go
There is a part that still holds back, yet with each encounter
This hold slips a little further

Until the day that my everything is yours
Heart, mind body and spirit
And the most hidden part of my being that I keep so guarded
My once blackened now reawakened soul
