Alive Yet Poem by Amit ...

Alive Yet

If it's your naked breast where I can rest my head and breathe your breath,
if it's your your entangled hairs hiding the glow of orgasm on your face,
If it is sweaty fragrance off your neck storing the essence of the nite we spent,
And even if it's your bare back where I feel the warmth with my bare chest,
I would say don't make this transition with me till the morning through the night yet..

If it is going to be that evening where I can see the sea in your content gaze,
If it is one of your long monologue on many tangents like a constant breaking of waves,
even if it's that distance music which sets the rhythm and leave traces of our steps,
I would say don't spend that sunset with me in a sand quite yet..

But I would surely, madly, ask you to give me hope and keep it kicking and alive yet,
Because sweetheart,
It's your hope for us and my love for you which will do the rest...

Alive yet; with the muse of love. Nice work.
