The soft sound of a river
Makes One’s skin quiver
The depth of the ocean
Is as deep as One’s devotion

The blaze of a fire
Is as loud as One’s desire
The smell of the burning
Is One’s thoughts churning

The howls of the gale
Are a psalm that makes One pale
The gusts of a hurricane
Are One’s reaction to pain

The flash of the aether
Makes One feel quite safer
To the contrary though
Some may fear the glow

The shakes of the hard quakes
Are the outcries One makes
The slide of a mountain side
May the pain of One hide

All is One, One is All
Souls echo to the call
In the end, we all fall

The writing here left something to be desired. The rhymes were not exactly the best and the transitions were not easily read or understood in the context of the previous one. I was generous on this one but it still falls short. GW62

The way you write about war and inner conflict is captivating. I just love it. You should consider a short story or novel.
