without wings

truth,
how can i ever doubt you?
when i look in your eyes
i see nothing but bare sincerity
nothing there to fear

are my life, my breath
my cause of existence
you are everything i want to be
always kind, never hostile

my everything
i wish the stars were mine
to give you
that i could fly with you
to merge with the moon
how can i ever pay
for the love you bestow on me
when i have nothing to give
but this bare truth i speak
