she labors
day and night without break
fighting for the right to live
red swollen eyes and a broken back
charred fingers, stiff and lifeless
she stands
rain or shine
to protect her children, to please her man
hides her pain, her suffering
she lives
with zeal and undying strength
welcoming each day with hope
with elegance and pride
she is for every woman
she is
truly African

its a wonderful way to describe a true african lady that cares and carries all the hard burdens and is truly genuine and strong... i like the diction and the words... the rhyme is perfect.... great 10+++
