alone in the dark
the walls are closing in
i miss your body beside me
i want your love new again.

the tenderness of your touch
your gentel embrace
the feel of you near
makes my heart race

to miss what we were
what we could have had
it tears at my soul
its leaving me mad

the gleam in your eyes
the love from your heart
all that i ever wanted
is now torn apart

the future that we had
it has now been destroyed
our love for each other
is empty and void
