All Birds Learn To Fly Poem by Roxie Young

All Birds Learn To Fly

The stare from your eyes
Show a hint of passion
That lasta no more than a moment
It's cast away into the depths of the past
Only to return too soon for another
My reality is set into the ground before me
Spreads the pain through my wings to hold me captive
Until that little voice of insanity speaks aloud
God is within me
My Saviour, the beat of my heart
Th lord is my engineer to teh pieces you left behind
He brings out the lost strength within me
Revives my sense of drection
To love someone isnt to live
Isn't to die
Isn't heaven or hell
It just partakes
I remember, and with the help fom my beating heart,
I spread my wings to fly
Heres to the love that was never given
The passion never experienced
I show you the kiss you could never have
And the desire that could have been driven
In the end I'm not lingering around
Just waiting for something to happen
Now my fear is no longer of loving you
It's of hating you
