All I Can Say Lord Poem by Gary James Smith

All I Can Say Lord

All I Can Say Lord

All I can say Lord is...wow!
Your Salvation has brought me much
When I repented of my sin
I felt the Master's touch
Your Spirit brought the Witness home
I was redeemed by the blood of the Lamb
And every sin that once stained my soul
Was forgiven...forgotten..amen!

Somehow although I can't explain it
I knew the transaction was done
When I humbled myself there in prayer
I knew the battle was won
For faith had gained the Victory
I believed then I received
The gift of God...eternal life
Now this world I was ready to leave

But by the grace of God there went I
A sinner...lost and undone
Drawn to Christ by the wooing of the Spirit
Through the reading of God's Word...amen!
On those pages of Holy Writ
The truth became alive
And quickened my soul to righteousness
Destroyingevery fragment of pride

I saw myself as the sinner I am
Standing in the need of prayer
Dependent one hundred percent on You Lord
And casting on You every care
Not one iota of righteousness is mine
For mine they all are but dung
You are the thrice Holy the Lord Jesus Christ
In the office of...the Father...the Spirit...the Son

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
