All I Have No Time For Poem by Cheryl McDonnell

All I Have No Time For

Here is a place for all I have no time for
So I made time for it here
I lost myself looking for this place
Which I have no time for
I have no time for you
Yet you read this place
I'm made of water
Water passes through this time
Your made of metal
Metal rusts under water
The lion had enough of being whipped
So he took the ringmaster's face clean off
Nobody had any time for his after that
But they made not a second for his reason
On the surface, where we see only what we are shown
My lessons carved in my skin because I failed to see it
Turn around and walk away
Forget them now.
