All I Need Is God Poem by Mishack Mchunu

I looked for a need but I failed to find it…
A reason to neither cry my tears nor show my fears,
Throughout the years, never reached the limit
In me, greater is he that cannot be seen with eyes!

But I failed to fly even though I had wings,
Couldn’t take that one step before I could climb the skies,
I had the crown but I couldn’t live like kings
Thus I had to be a servant and watch my kingdom as it dies.

And when a man sent from above told me
“Is love from grace”, I got to the race and picked up the pace
And my eyes were opened to see
He is not too far in heaven but I have my self to trace

When I said it; I never meant it. From doing, it became proof
And this world will never rain on me anymore, I’m under His roof!
