All I'Ve Got Poem by Sabrina Kennemer

All I'Ve Got

All I’ve got

Hope, use to be a fleeting word and never lasted long.
Love was a word heard only in sappy love songs.
Until you came into my world.
You sent my head on a tilt-a-whirl.
You’ve showed me things I’ve never seen,
With your sweetheart we make a good team.
You showed me how to really care,
At you, I can’t help but stare.
I want you to see
What all you’ve given me,
But I don’t know how to show you.
You taught me to be me.
You’ve touched my life so deep,
Sometimes I just want to weep.
You have my heart no matter if you want it or not,
I give it freely to you and that’s all I’ve got.
