by LaClaire Mitchell Nzerem
All life moves
through night grooves
whispering spray of wind on waves
and etching through moonlit rays
under slip of earth warm crawl
pink in moist dark
pressing through soil
to undulate in deep blue dark
tumbling through grass
dew kissed and sparse
to chance escape a robins gaze
intent to fill
her nestling babes.
