All My Senses Poem by Brijaal Dana

All My Senses

If I could I would, paint the utmost of all beautiful creations, that anyone has ever seen;

Through the finest of all arts, given the most natural beauty, the one I speak of, I have finally seen;

If I could I would, create the music that sounds like a symphony speaking to the Angels of all that is dear;

Whereas, not everyone has a chance in their lifetime to not only hear, but to recognize when the opportunity is there;

If I could I would, with the every sense of smell, develop something so fragrant, so rich and so much a bouquet;

That the must colorful and rhythmic of all pleasantries, to the pallet of our senses, can be that of the fresh smell of rain effected by a sun's single ray;

If I could I would, Sculpt the finest of all textures so as to feel the warmth of the delicate fabric of life itself, as we know it to be;

So is true for the most comforting contact, that one can know, in the same awareness of contentment, setting restlessness free;

If I could I would, bring to the taste buds with overwhelming joy, something so flavorful and so sweet, for sometimes we crave;

What dreams are made of and motivations are Bourne, so is the good life that requests some of our own roads to be paved;

If I hadn't learned from all of life's previous lessons;

I would not be able to appreciate all my senses;

For this I feel blessed from every angle;

For I am able to recognize that I have truly met an Angel.
