All Of Eternity Poem by Nick Hartley

She smiles at me so innocently
with her childlike beauty,
which glitters from her eyes,
every time she passes me by,
making my heart flutter
with only a thought of
hearing her sigh.
And even though i want to tell
her about the way she makes me feel,
in my heart i know this dream
could never be made real,
for she belongs to a circle of
sophiscated friends and i am
but a loner whose heart can
only pretend that these barriers
will be broken, when words of true
love are spoken, to touch her heart
so lovingly, just to make her see,
i can love her for all of eternity.
