All That Can Be Wished For Poem by Iris Mista

All That Can Be Wished For

In anger clenched fists
ropes around the wrists
After everything tried
still totally tied

Stuck between the rise and fall
Knowing nothing, knowing it all
Nothing really matters
blown away as the lightest feathers
with the sighs of the breath
Longing for life and longing for death

All that can be wished for
deeply wanting to soar
above all the human needs
to touch the love that feeds

Untie the whipping of the rope
surrounded by glorious endless hope
to find that wonderful tranquility
so, no matter what disability
finally the liveliest rest
by making choices for the best
