All That I Live For Poem by Jessie Mahoney Bathis

All That I Live For

ALLTHAT I LIVE FOR

A growing love between you & me,
A special bond one can not see.
Love has wrapped us up in its cocoon,
And holds us gently in its womb.
If I could have one wish,
And was certain it's come true...
I'd wish to awake every morning of everyday,
In your arms, just being held by you.
You mean much more to me,
Then guys you date & soon forget,
More then the ones I've loved & left.
They've left me with nothing short of regret.
For, they're the waves,
And you are like the shore.
You are all I love,
And all that I live for.

I do appreciate your views but the world has its own say in this regard. Lovers are like butterflies in search of honey from various flowers. Since dating is so common in the West, our expectations and calculations can easily go wrong. In one of the wedding cards I have seen the following idea: - 'We have decided to live and love together'. You can also experiment with this idea for a peaceful life. Best of luck!
