I REMEMBER YOU
I don't remember when things were good,
or even if they were.
...
Please don’t say you love me,
If you really don’t care.
Please don’t say that you need me,
When there are no feelings there.
...
Walking on a dream
Floating above reality
Imagination roaming
Dreaming of better days
...
There’s a part of me,
That no one else can see.
There are parts of me,
That I’ve forgotten to be.
...
Majority will never approve of your love for me,
Not your friends or certain family.
...
If ever two people were one,
Than surely we.
If ever a man and woman were in love
It’s you and me.
...
Suspicious thoughts,
Questions you ask me.
Why is it that you’ll never trust me?
I know what I did was wrong,
...
You’ve admitted to lying, cheating and breaking my heart,
You think that because it was so long ago it won’t tear us apart?
I feel so disconnected and emotionally detached from you,
I’d expect such deceit from anyone in this world but you.
...
ALLTHAT I LIVE FOR
A growing love between you & me,
A special bond one can not see.
...
TO MY FATHER
No matter what, you are always there for me.
Through the ups & the downs...
...
Jessie was too shy to place her poems on here so abit of convincing and pushing allowed me to upload them. All her poems have been written straight from her heart during the different stages of her life, and her experience or inexperience with her previous love life. At 20yrs of age she seems to have talent or atleast i think so.)
I Remember You
I REMEMBER YOU
I don't remember when things were good,
or even if they were.
I don't remember any happiness,
I was always so insecure.
I don't remember when we said it was over,
or even the reason why.
I don't remember all the hatred,
and all those times you made me cry.
I don't remember how they said it's never gonna work
and how I knew that they were right.
I don't remember the violence,
and how everything started a fight.
I don't remember all those f***ed up things,
and how our whole relationship was untrue.
I don't remember leaving.
After all this time,
I only remember you.
