All The Basking Poem by Rabi Anata

All The Basking

We're out of time
And out of space
We're losing happiness
It was enough to begin
But we flung it on the table
And now it's nothingness
In a day's time
We'll want it back
But it's been spent on our childish fun
Everything that was good
Is coming undone
Someone can save us
If we gave them the chance
But we aren't giving what we have away
So it's this way we'll stay
Carrying our sacks of weariness
And hurting from our past mistakes
Slowly draining of all happiness
