Are you on?

Yes I'm on,

Always been

That switch

Can't be flipped,

Once the current

Flowed the light

Has never faded

Maybe flickered

But never jaded,

Many have snickered

But in the night,

Their dreams weren't

Kind, as I sipped

On the lemonade which

I squeezed out of life's bin

Of surprises and misdirections,

You the greatest of my misconceptions

Made me glow all the brighter

My flame can't be put out like a Zippo lighter...
